At BISP, supporting students in making informed decisions about their post-school pathways is a key part of our university guidance programme. Recently, we were pleased to welcome representatives from three international institutions, offering students valuable insight into diverse academic and career opportunities across design, hospitality, and global higher education.
IED – Istituto Europeo di Design
We were delighted to host a representative from IED – Istituto Europeo di Design, who introduced students to creative degree pathways within one of Europe’s leading design institutions.
The session explored campus life, specialist programmes, and the strong connection between design education and real-world industries. Students gained insight into how creative disciplines such as fashion, visual communication, product design, and interior design translate into professional opportunities globally.
The visit encouraged students to consider how creativity, innovation, and technical skill combine within university-level design education.

Dusit Thani College
We also welcomed representatives from Dusit Thani College, who presented pathways in hospitality and related fields.
Students learned about academic programmes designed around industry-focused learning, combining classroom study with practical, real-world experience. The session highlighted career routes within hospitality management, culinary arts, and service industries — sectors that continue to grow both regionally and internationally.
The visit provided a clear example of how applied university study can directly connect to professional environments and career development.

IE University, Spain
A representative from IE University in Spain led an engaging and practical session focused on personal branding and building a strong student profile for competitive university applications.
Students explored how academic subject choices, extracurricular engagement, leadership roles, and meaningful experiences contribute to a compelling application. The session provided actionable guidance on how to present strengths, interests, and future ambitions effectively when applying to university.
This workshop reinforced the importance of intentional planning throughout secondary school, ensuring students are well-prepared for selective global institutions.
These visits reflect BISP’s commitment to exposing students to a broad range of international higher education pathways. By engaging directly with universities and industry-linked institutions, our students gain clarity, confidence, and inspiration as they begin shaping their futures.
