In this interview, Year 13 academic scholar Vanshika Dimry reflects on her time at BISP, sharing how her global upbringing and time in boarding helped shape her passions and future goals.

Vanshika discusses her interest in medicine, science and politics, and how founding the MedSoc club allowed her to explore the intersection of these fields. She also shares highlights from her time at BISP, including representing the school at Thai MUN, completing a biology and psychology Extended Essay, and building strong friendships through the boarding experience.

With plans to study theoretical maths and neuroscience at the University of Melbourne, Vanshika hopes to one day become a neurosurgeon. Her advice to future students? “Just try everything”.
