Today on our blog we would like to introduce you to Jazzmin, our Colour Team Coordinator for the 2021-22 academic year. The Colour Team Coordinator role is a strategic position that links the Colour Team Captains with the Head Students. Jazzmin will be responsible for organising and overseeing events and planning key dates and activities, ensuring events are well spread throughout the year and that they cover a number of different curricular areas. Jazzmin will work closely with our Teacher Colour Team Coordinator, Mr Chris Dilts.

Jazzmin

Jazzmin“My name is Jazzmin and I am half Swiss and half-Dutch. I have been studying at BISP for around seven years now. With this experience, I have been able to explore multiple cultures, paths, and opportunities, while developing all of my passions and interests. My time spent here at BISP has allowed me to develop my sportsmanship and love for my sport. I am currently a member of the BISP RPT Tennis Academy and am also involved in the musical aspects of the school, including Concert Band, Orchestra and Choir.

“As the Colour Team Coordinator, I believe the qualities needed for this role consist of enthusiasm and spirit, together with hard work and teamwork. These are some of the key qualities I have acquired as a Deputy Colour Team Lead this year and which I look forward to developing in my new role next year.

“My aim as the Colour Team Coordinator is to bring all the students together to enjoy and feel comfortable within the community, and to encourage participation in various events to raise our spirits. I hope to spread positivity and make an impact that will inspire students to get involved. I will give my 100% effort in this position and hope to be able to give back to the BISP community.”
