Lola has been part of the BISP community for 10 years, growing into a thoughtful and inquisitive student with a deep interest in how ideas shape the world. She has received offers from some of the UK’s most respected universities, including the University of St Andrews, the University of Edinburgh, King’s College London and University College London. She will go on to study Philosophy, a subject that reflects both her academic curiosity and her passion for reflection and dialogue.
Her time in Senior School helped her recognise the philosophical threads running through many of her subjects. Whether in Physics, English or Theory of Knowledge, she began to see how deeper questions connect different areas of learning. This realisation helped solidify her choice to pursue Philosophy at university, where she looks forward to further exploring ethics, logic, and the nature of knowledge.
As Yellow House Captain, Lola developed skills in teamwork, collaboration and event planning. Her role gave her the chance to work closely with the student body and support school spirit across year levels.
With strong academic foundations and an open, questioning mind, Lola now moves on to the next stage of her learning journey, ready to think critically, engage meaningfully and explore the ideas that shape our world.
