The sun was shining, and the pool was buzzing with excitement on Saturday, October 28, as we witnessed an incredible display of talent and determination at the BISP Pentathlon. This year’s event brought together 360 swimmers from 6 different teams, all eager to do their best in the water.
The Pentathlon, as the name suggests, featured five thrilling events for each swimmer, where they competed in 50 metres of each stroke, along with the challenging Individual Medley. It was a true test of the swimmer’s versatility and stamina, and all rose to the occasion admirably.
BISP made a splash taking home the first-place team trophy with an astonishing 3,772 points. The spirit of competition was palpable, with Headstart International School securing the runner-up position with 1,145 points, making it a memorable day for all who participated.
In the midst of fierce competition, several BISP swimmers shone brightly, earning top points in their respective age groups:
- 8 & Under Boys: Jake
- 11-12 Boys: Anton
- 13-14 Boys: Enkhmend
- 13-14 Girls: Valeriia
Each of these exceptional young athletes demonstrated their dedication, skill and unwavering commitment to the sport, making their families, teammates and the BISP community incredibly proud.
