From vocal performances to piano and violin, BISP’s young musicians have been making their mark in national and international competitions throughout 2026. Across three competitions, students have earned an impressive collection of awards, with four musicians qualifying for Grand Finals in Osaka, Japan.
Behind these achievements are hours of practice, preparation and the support of BISP’s music teachers, who have helped students take their musical talents beyond the classroom.
Four Musicians Heading to Japan
Among this year’s highlights are the achievements of Alfie, Keithapat, Phatara and Chakornpat, who qualified for international Grand Finals in Osaka through two different competitions.
At the Osaka Global Music & Talent Competition 2026, Alfie received the Champion Award in Piano Initial, while Keithapat earned First Place in Piano Grade 1. Both qualified for the competition’s Grand Finals in December.
Their fellow pianists also received recognition, with Jaturabhuj taking Second Place in Piano Grade 1 and Nannapas achieving Third Place in Piano Initial.
Meanwhile, the MOMJI International Music Competition 2026 brought further success. Phatara earned the Gold Award and Champion title in Piano Grade 2, while Chakornpat received a Gold Award in the Vocal Upper Elementary Division. Both qualified for the Grand Final in Osaka on 10 October.
These achievements were part of a wider collection of results from the MOMJI Thailand Preliminary Round, where BISP students were recognised across several instruments and categories.
In violin, Phutawan earned Gold in the Initial category, while Phutawin received Gold in Violin Initial and Silver in Piano Initial. Mek achieved Bronze in Violin Grade 5 and Silver in Vocal Grade 6, while Tawan received Silver in Violin Grade 6.
In piano, Pinyapa and Vichaya also earned Silver Awards in Grades 4 and 5 respectively.

Vocal Success at the Royal Stage Competition
BISP’s vocalists also had plenty to celebrate following the Royal Stage National Music Competition 2026, which took place in June.
Four students submitted performances, with Melissa receiving the Grand Champion Award. Nanyi (Nina) and Eva each earned a Prestige Gold Award, while Miranda received a Gold Award.
The results added another dimension to BISP’s musical achievements this year, highlighting the range of talent across vocal and instrumental performance.

Beyond the Classroom
Throughout these competitions, BISP music teachers Khun Ying and Khun Beaver played an important role in supporting students through their preparation and performance submissions.
Khun Ying guided the vocalists participating in the Royal Stage competition, while Khun Beaver supported students entering the Osaka Global Music & Talent Competition and MOMJI International Music Competition.
These experiences give young musicians opportunities to challenge themselves, share their work beyond school and gain recognition for their musical development.
Congratulations to every BISP musician recognised in these competitions, and best wishes to our four Grand Final qualifiers as they continue their musical journeys in Japan.
