BISP is proud to congratulate Year 10 student Maya on her outstanding achievement at the Pole & Aerial Sports World Championships (POSA), held in Budapest from 9–14 December 2025.

Representing Greece, Maya competed in the Junior A Amateur Silks (JAAS) category and finished in the top 10 in the world, an exceptional result at a highly competitive international event. The championships, hosted in Budaörs by the Hungarian Aerial Sports Federation, brought together hundreds of elite athletes from around the world across pole and aerial disciplines.

Competing on such a prestigious stage alongside world-class athletes was an unforgettable experience for Maya. Her performance reflects not only her technical skill, but also her commitment, resilience and passion for her sport.

We are delighted that Maya chose to share this achievement with the BISP community. Congratulations to Maya on this impressive accomplishment. We wish her every success as she continues her journey in aerial sports.
