Today marked the first day of the 2026/27 academic year at BISP, as students returned to campus following the summer break.

It was great to welcome back our returning students and to see so many new faces beginning their first day at BISP. Across Primary and Secondary, students spent the day reconnecting with friends, meeting new classmates and teachers, and getting started with the year ahead.

For new students and families, today was another important step in becoming part of the BISP community, following last week’s New Family Orientation. We hope everyone had a positive first day and is already beginning to feel at home.

This year is an especially meaningful one for BISP as we celebrate our 30th anniversary, marking three decades of learning, growth and community in Phuket. As we look back on this important milestone, today also reminded us that every new school year brings a fresh chapter and new opportunities ahead.

With the 2026/27 academic year now officially underway, we look forward to another year filled with learning, friendships, creativity, sport, discovery and memorable experiences across our school community.

Ignite Enrichment Programme Registrations Open This Week

With students now back on campus, attention also turns to the many opportunities available beyond the classroom through the BISP Ignite Enrichment Programme. Families can currently preview the Term 1 activities available for their children on SchoolsBuddy.

Registration for the Learn to Swim (LTS) Programme opens tomorrow, Tuesday 25 August at 10:15am, and closes on Wednesday 26 August at 12:00pm.

Registration for all other activities opens on Thursday 27 August at 10:15am and closes on Friday 28 August at 10:00am, with places allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Paid and Secondary activities will begin in Week 2, followed by Primary teacher-led activities in Week 3.

We encourage families to take a look at the activities available and get ready for another busy and exciting term at BISP.
