As part of their Science enquiry topic last term, Year 3 explored the world of plants, focusing on how and why seeds disperse through wind, water and animals.

To bring these concepts to life, the children worked in small groups to create their own stop-motion animations.

They carefully sculpted models and adjusted them frame by frame to show how seeds move, while writing and narrating scripts to explain the science behind each method of dispersal.

The children thoroughly enjoyed the project, combining their scientific understanding with the challenge of creating their own animated films.
