Two BISP students achieved impressive results at the 27th Osaka International Music Competition, held in Osaka, Japan, on 3 and 4 October 2026.
Kantisha (Sand) and Samachphon (Lucas), both studying under BISP piano teacher Khun Cindy, earned Gold Prizes in the preliminary National Round over the summer, qualifying them for the international finals in Japan.
Competing alongside more than 60 finalists from around the world across their respective categories, both students achieved excellent results:
- Kantisha (Sand) – 5th place in the Youth Category (Piano), Repertoire Infant A.
- Samachphon (Lucas) – 6th place in the Youth Category (Piano), Free Program Junior.
Their achievements reflect the dedication and preparation involved in performing at an international level, as well as the guidance and encouragement they have received throughout their musical development.
Congratulations to Sand and Lucas on their results, and a special thank you to Khun Cindy for her continued support and commitment to preparing both students for the competition.
