On Saturday 22 May, BISP boarding students spent the afternoon preparing 1,000 life bags for local community group, One Phuket, which were delivered the following day to people in need in Kamala, Kata, Karon and Phuket Town.

The life bags contained enough food to feed a family of four for four days and had been purchased by One Phuket using money raised through extensive fundraising. Just 150 baht funds one life bag.

Over the past week, the BISP community has also been contributing to One Phuket’s clothes drive by delivering pre-loved clothing to the Blue Tree clock tower for distribution to local communities.

Thank you to our boarding students for all your time and efforts in preparing the life bags, and to our community of parents and staff who continue to provide support to people in Phuket most affected by the pandemic.
