Two High Performance players from the BISP Tennis Academy have delivered outstanding results in recent weeks, competing across some of the most competitive junior and professional events in the region.

Jinny began her run with an excellent performance at the King’s Cup 2026, one of the most prestigious junior tournaments in Thailand. She claimed the Under 18 Singles title, showcasing consistency and confidence throughout the event.

Building on that success, Jinny travelled to Vietnam to compete in back-to-back ITF J30 tournaments. She won the singles title in the first week and followed it up with a runner-up finish in the second. These results have propelled her to an ITF junior ranking of 1000, marking an important milestone in her development on the international stage.

Meanwhile, Ig continues to make impressive strides in professional tennis. Competing in the W15 Nakhon Pathom tournament, Ig successfully progressed through the qualifying rounds with dominant performances, winning her matches 6-0, 6-0 and 6-0, 6-1.

She then faced a 22-year-old Chinese player ranked around 1000 in the WTA in the first round, delivering a strong performance in a highly competitive match before narrowly losing 6-2, 6-4.

At just 16 years old, Ig is already competing in professional-level tournaments, gaining valuable experience and continuing to demonstrate strong potential at this level.

These achievements reflect the commitment, hard work and continued progress of both players as they develop within the BISP Tennis Academy High Performance programme and compete at increasingly high levels of the game.
