Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

The first half term of the 2026–27 academic year has been a busy and exciting one for our boarding community at BISP. From outdoor adventures and creative activities to shared meals and evenings with friends, our boarders have enjoyed plenty of opportunities to connect, explore and settle into life at BISP.

For students living away from home, boarding is about much more than having a place to stay. It is an opportunity to build friendships, develop independence and become part of a close-knit community where everyday experiences are shared.

Making Memories Beyond the Classroom

The programme of activities gives students opportunities to discover new interests, challenge themselves and experience life beyond their usual school routines. Just as importantly, it creates space for students of different ages and backgrounds to get to know one another and develop friendships outside the classroom.

Whether trying something for the first time or helping a friend feel included, these shared experiences contribute to the supportive and welcoming atmosphere of the boarding community.

A Community That Feels Like Home

One of the most important aspects of boarding life at BISP is the sense of community that develops as students spend time together.

Living alongside their peers encourages boarders to take responsibility for themselves, consider others and become more confident in navigating everyday life. For new boarders, the first few weeks are also an important time to find their feet, establish routines and begin to feel at home.

As the first half term comes to an end, it has been lovely to see students settling in, forming new friendships and growing more comfortable in their boarding environment.
