Recently, our Year 4, 5 and 6 students took part in an engaging introduction to brass instruments as part of our Performing Arts programme.

Across the sessions, students had the opportunity to learn about and try a variety of instruments, discovering how sound is produced and experimenting with their first notes. The workshops were filled with curiosity, enthusiasm and plenty of memorable moments as students challenged themselves to try something new.

Experiences like these play an important role in helping students explore their interests and build confidence through the arts. It was particularly encouraging to see so many students eager to participate and support one another as they developed new skills.

Free Taster Lessons Available

Following the workshops, we are pleased to offer a free brass instrument taster lesson for any Year 4–6 students who would like to explore this further. These sessions provide a great opportunity to experience individual instruction and see if learning a brass instrument is something they would enjoy longer term.
