BISP secondary school Sports Day 2026 brought the community together for a focused and energetic morning of athletics, with students competing across track and field events in a revised schedule designed to prioritise wellbeing in the sweltering heat.

Originally planned as a full-day event on 11th March 2026, the programme was adjusted to a half-day to ensure students could perform at their best while staying safe in the rising temperatures. Despite the shortened format, the event maintained a strong competitive spirit throughout.

The morning followed a structured rotation of events, beginning with the 1500m and moving through 100m heats, 200m, 400m, and 800m races, alongside field events including high jump, long jump, triple jump, shot put, javelin, and discus

While the 100m finals and relays were removed from the schedule, final sprint positions were determined by heat times, ensuring every performance counted.

Across the morning, students demonstrated resilience, teamwork, and house pride, contributing to a closely contested overall result.

  • 1st Place – Green Cobras (673 points)
  • 2nd Place – Red Tigers (507 points)
