Congratulations to the following British International School, Phuket (BISP) students who have achieved sporting success outside of school recently.

Emmanuel (Matti) and David, Year 10 – Football
	Congratulations to Matti and David for representing the U16 Philippines national team at the AFC U16 Championship 2020 Qualifiers in September in Jakarta. Their side finished 3rd in their group, just out of contention for a place at the final tournament to be held next year. Great effort boys.

Nathan, Year 9 – Flowriding (indoor surfing)

Last month, Nathan travelled to Korea where he competed against the best in the world at the Flowriding World Championships. This was Nathan’s first World Championships and first event as a professional flowrider. Nathan competed in four rounds of the flowboard and made it to the quarterfinals in the bodyboard, narrowly missing out on a place in the semis. He now has official world rankings of 10th and 7th. Well done Nathan.

Viktor, Alecos, Fin and Max – Ninja Warriors
In October, four BISP students proved their strength, agility and coordination in Blue Tree’s first Ninja Warriors competition. Viktor (Year 9), Alecos (Year 12), and Fin and Max (Year 13) all made podium finishes in the 12-17 and Over 18 categories. Congratulations boys.
