The Year 11 End of Year Dinner 2025 was a celebration of style, achievement and transition. Held on Saturday 14th June at the Courtyard by Marriott Phuket Town, the ‘Hollywood Glamour’ theme set the tone for a joyful evening as students and staff came together to mark the end of the IGCSE journey.

The evening offered more than just a chance to dress up and unwind. It was an opportunity to reflect on two years of determination, growth and shared experience. In a room filled with elegance and excitement, students took a well-earned moment to pause and celebrate how far they have come.

Mr Gavin Terry, Head of Upper School, captured the spirit of the evening with a blend of humour and insight, reflecting on the group’s IGCSE journey through some impressive numbers: 70 exams, 110 hours of assessments and over 650 days of preparation. He reminded students, however, that the real value lies not in statistics but in the skills they have developed and the friendships they have formed. Mrs Gemma Clark echoed this sentiment, praising the group’s camaraderie, determination and support for one another. She commended their strength of character and left them with a well-earned reminder: “You’ve earned this evening, and the best part now? There’s absolutely nothing to revise for tomorrow!”

Music added a special touch to the night, with a beautiful performance by Toby, Nara and Katie, and a lively soundtrack from Kru Pian’s band setting the mood throughout dinner. From heartfelt moments to fun photo booth snapshots, the evening was full of laughter, connection and celebration.

A special thank you goes to the BDE and Marketing teams, as well as the Year 11 Student Leaders — Katie, Daisy, Mika and Chloe — whose ideas and effort helped make the event a success. With support from Mrs Clark, their leadership ensured the evening felt both personal and memorable.

As students look ahead to their next steps, this dinner marked more than just the end of exams. It marked the beginning of a new chapter filled with possibility.
