The 2024–25 academic year has been a season of growth, innovation and achievement for the Phuket Gymnastics Club at BISP. From the youngest beginners to competitive gymnasts, students have developed not only technical ability but also confidence, focus and self-discipline through a well-rounded and supportive programme.
Building strong foundations
The club continued to nurture core gymnastics skills across all levels, supporting students as they advanced in strength, flexibility and artistic expression. A highlight this year was the introduction of the Parents and Toddler Programme for children aged 2 to 3. Designed to foster early motor skills in a playful, supportive setting, this new initiative reflects the club’s commitment to long-term development from the earliest stages.
Excellence in competition
BISP gymnasts demonstrated their dedication and talent at several high-level events throughout the year. At the 3rd JRC Artistic Gymnastics Stars Championships, students competed alongside some of Thailand’s most promising young athletes. They also represented BISP at the Moose Games 2025, showcasing their skills on an international stage and earning multiple medals across various disciplines.
Leading in the local community
The club proudly hosted the Phuket Gymnastics Invitational 2025 on campus in June, welcoming participants from local clubs and BCIS International School. The event offered a valuable platform for students to share their progress and perform for their peers and families in a spirited and encouraging environment.
As the club reflects on a successful year, the focus remains on delivering a safe, inspiring and inclusive space for all gymnasts. With continued support from parents and the wider BISP community, the team looks forward to building on this momentum and achieving even greater milestones in the year to come.
