Students from the Phuket Gymnastics programme recently came together for the annual Phuket Gymnastics Internal Competition, celebrating a year of dedication, perseverance and personal growth.

Held at BISP, the event welcomed gymnasts from across the programme, from enthusiastic three-year-old preschool students taking part in their very first competition to experienced Level 5 athletes demonstrating the skills they have developed throughout the season.

The competition provided every gymnast with the opportunity to perform in front of family, friends, coaches and judges, showcasing not only their technical ability but also the confidence, resilience and commitment they have built through months of training. For many students, it was an important milestone and a chance to celebrate the progress they have made both individually and as part of the wider gymnastics community.

Adding to the occasion, two experienced judges from Bangkok Patana School travelled to Phuket to assess the routines and provide valuable feedback. Their expertise offered students an excellent opportunity to learn and continue developing their skills, while also recognising the high standard of gymnastics being achieved within the programme.

One of the highlights of the day was the positive atmosphere throughout the competition. Whether waiting for their turn to compete or celebrating each other’s routines, students demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship, encouragement and teamwork. The event reflected the strong sense of community that continues to define the Phuket Gymnastics programme, where personal improvement is celebrated just as much as competitive success.

Congratulations to this season’s Overall Champions:

  • Preschool: Cissie
  • Level 1: Yara, Aria and Nadezhda (joint champions)
  • Level 2: Rann
  • Level 3: Jane
  • Level 4: Kiana
  • Level 5: Miranda

The competition was made possible through the dedication of the Phuket Gymnastics coaching team, the support of the MACA staff, the expertise of the visiting judges, and the continued commitment of BISP to providing outstanding facilities and opportunities for students to pursue their passions.

Congratulations to every gymnast who took part. Your enthusiasm, determination and willingness to challenge yourselves have made this a fantastic season, and we look forward to seeing your continued growth in the years ahead.

As the 2025–2026 season comes to a close, the Phuket Gymnastics programme is already looking ahead to the future. Summer Camps are now open for registration, offering children aged three and above the opportunity to stay active, develop new skills and enjoy a fun and engaging programme of gymnastics, games and activities throughout the school holidays.

Looking ahead, the programme is excited to continue building on this year’s success, with plans to welcome even more gymnasts, develop new partnerships and create fresh opportunities for students to grow, challenge themselves and enjoy the sport.

We look forward to welcoming both returning and new gymnasts back into the gym soon.
