Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

The youngest of the BISP community are the two Little Ducks classes (Tigers and Lions). Ms. Lindsay and Miss Alexa ensure all their students are consistently entertained with various activities that change on a daily basis. A Little Ducks day is structured around free play, dancing, snack time, and a physical movement activity to create a sense of consistency.

The Little Ducks area consists of two main classrooms and two outside areas. The space is filled with various sensory tables which are regularly changed throughout the week. The Little Ducks have the freedom to choose where they spend their time and many make the most of the play house, climbing frame and swing set. All the staff in Little Ducks get involved in every activity and will happily wear a crown or a pair of fairy wings during dress up time.

Two PE interns have been regularly helping out with the youngest students twice a week. Their main highlight of the Little Ducks timetable is the slip ‘n’ slide that happens every Wednesday (weather permitting!). This is the ideal pastime in warmer weather. During this activity there is no stopping the interns from joining in and getting a refreshing break from the heat!

Little Ducks expertly blends together learning with interactive play allowing your younger ones to develop effectively in a welcoming and fun environment. Ms. Lindsay and Ms. Lexa have enjoyed watching their Little Ducks progress through the school and grow into mature students over the years. It is clear that is the perfect foundation for students to begin their time at BISP.
