Following the announcement by the Bureau of the Royal Household dated 24 October 2025 on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, the BISP community held a commemorative ceremony on 8 January 2026. Teachers, students, parents, and staff gathered together in shared silence to pay tribute and reflect upon Her Majesty’s life and legacy.

The ceremony was conducted with the utmost respect and solemnity. During the ceremony, participants observed a minute of silence in remembrance of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, and signed the book of condolences, expressing their profound gratitude for Her Majesty’s boundless benevolence.

The planning and delivery of the ceremony were carried out collaboratively by students, who shared responsibility for ensuring that every element reflected the significance of the occasion. 

Through this collective effort, students developed a deeper sense of responsibility, teamwork, and awareness, while demonstrating patience, mutual respect, and commitment. Above all, the ceremony served as a meaningful expression of remembrance, reaffirming the importance of coming together as a school community to honour shared values with sincerity and respect.
