Our BISP Year 1 students recently enjoyed a wonderful trip to the aquarium, where they experienced an exciting day of learning beyond the classroom.
Throughout the visit, the children showed great curiosity and enthusiasm as they explored the different exhibits. We were very proud of how they listened carefully to their teachers, followed instructions, and showed respect for the animals and the environment. They were excellent representatives of our school.
The trip connected closely with our current learning theme, Caring for Animals. During their visit, students had the opportunity to explore several important ideas:
- Animal Groups: Students observed a variety of animals, including fish, insects, mammals and reptiles.
- Habitats: They learned about where these animals live and what they need in their environments to stay healthy.
- Animal Care: The children also discussed how humans can help protect marine life by keeping our oceans clean and safe for all creatures.
It was a memorable day that helped bring their classroom learning to life while inspiring curiosity and care for the natural world.
