From 8–10 March, the BISP campus was alive with energy as we proudly hosted the 2026 Sea Eagles Swim Invitational—our largest edition of the event to date. Welcoming more than 500 swimmers from seven countries, the meet brought together a diverse and talented field for an unforgettable weekend of competition.

Across three days, the pool delivered excitement at every session. Athletes rose to the occasion with a series of outstanding performances, resulting in an impressive 24 new meet records. Notably, 17 of these records were set by BISP swimmers, reflecting the continued strength and depth of our Sea Eagles programme.

Among the standout performances:

  • Zac Duncanson – 50 Freestyle
  • Enkhmend Enkhmend – 200 IM, 50 Breaststroke, 100 Breaststroke, 100 Butterfly
  • Ethren Lim Chern – 50 & 100 Backstroke; 50, 100 & 200 Freestyle
  • Anton Solnyshko – 100 & 200 Butterfly; 400 Freestyle; 200 Backstroke; 400 IM
  • Lynna Yeow – 100 Freestyle
  • Naomi Gray – 400 IM

As a team, BISP delivered an exceptional overall performance, securing the team championship with a commanding total of 4,196 points. The final team standings were:

  1. BISP Sea Eagles – 4,196
  2. Aqua Panthers – 1,724
  3. KIS Barracudas – 1,292

Individual excellence was also recognised, with several Sea Eagles swimmers earning high point honours in their respective age groups:

  • 9–10 Boys: 2nd Runner-Up – Jake Lee
  • 11–12 Girls: 1st Runner-Up – Annabel Hladnik; 2nd Runner-Up – Sascha Ninen
  • 13–14 Boys: 1st Place (tie) – Anton Solnyshko & Ethren Lim Chern
  • 15 & Over Girls: 1st Place – Lynna Yeow; 2nd Runner-Up – Naomi Gray
  • 15 & Over Boys: 1st Place – Enkhmend Enkhmend; 1st Runner-Up – Zac Duncanson; 2nd Runner-Up – Nutt Sriboonalue

Beyond the results, the event was a celebration of commitment, sportsmanship, and the shared passion for swimming. We are incredibly proud of all our swimmers for the way they represented the school, both in and out of the water.

The Sea Eagles Invitational continues to grow each year, and this year’s success sets a strong benchmark for what lies ahead. We look forward to welcoming teams back for an even bigger and more exciting competition from 5–7 March 2027.
