The BISP Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) continues to exemplify the spirit of giving and togetherness, supporting both our school and the wider Phuket community. As part of their ongoing commitment to social impact, the BISP PTA donated THB 50,000 to the Vachira Cancer Institute, a new non-profit facility currently being developed to expand cancer care and research in the region.

This donation was made possible through funds raised during the PTA’s Christmas Fair, which included a community raffle and bingo. With the generous support of BISP families, staff, and local businesses who contributed prizes such as hotel stays, spa packages, and dining vouchers, the initiative raised THB 112,998. The PTA’s decision to donate a significant portion of these proceeds reflects the community’s ongoing commitment to supporting causes that extend beyond the school.

The donation was formally received by Ms Rawipen Kingkaew, Deputy Director of Administration at Vachira Phuket Hospital, during a small ceremony held at the hospital’s administrative building. In their message of thanks, the hospital expressed its appreciation to the BISP PTA and acknowledged the contribution as part of the development of Phuket’s first Comprehensive Radiotherapy Centre. This new facility will offer vital cancer treatment services to patients across the region and represents a major step forward in expanding access to long-term healthcare in southern Thailand.

On behalf of Vachira Phuket Hospital, we extend our heartfelt thanks and blessings. May this generous act of kindness bring good health, happiness, and continued success to you and your families.

We are proud of the BISP PTA’s continued efforts to support wellbeing both within and beyond the school and are grateful to all who made this donation possible.
