Well DoneAndy Su, a Year 11 student at BISP, has recently achieved an outstanding sporting milestone by becoming the 2025 China Road Racing National Champion.

The China Road Racing Championships are contested across four stages each season, with the rider accumulating the highest total points crowned overall champion. Andy made a strong start to the year by winning the first two stages, placing himself firmly at the top of the standings early on.

Midway through the season, Andy faced a significant setback after suffering a broken clavicle due to injury. Despite this challenge, he showed remarkable determination and resilience by returning to competition for the second to last stage, where he secured an impressive second place finish. This result gave him enough points to confirm the national title, provided he completed the final stage.

Andy finished the season with a total of 79 points, narrowly ahead of the runner up on 75 points, officially securing his place as the 2025 China Road Racing National Champion.

This achievement reflects Andy’s dedication, perseverance and competitive spirit, and the BISP community is incredibly proud of his success.
