Today, BISP Early Years students and staff dressed in white to celebrate the local vegetarian festival. The morning started with a parade, with the children waving flags and making noise with musical instruments. Then some parents organised vegetarian cooking activities, which were a lot of fun. The BISP Thai Studies teachers took all of the Year 3 students to visit a local shrine, Sapam Shrine. The students were given a tour of the Shrine and learnt about some of the activities during the Vegetarian Festival, this year celebrated from 8th to 17th October. Read about Sapam Shrine here.
